Translated from Greek and French, Phildeau means 'friend of water' or 'water-loving'. When I started playing guitar as a volunteer in the UK in 2006, I was given the name 'Phildo' by my colleagues in reference to the Belgian superstar 'Milow', whose song 'Ayo Technology' I practiced day after day.
This evolved into 'Phildeau' one night 6 years later. This art word creation is both a homage to the Atlantic coast of Brittany and, more fundamentally, to the element of water, which has a profoundly inspiring as well as gratifying effect on me in any place that is in harmony with nature.
